DETAILS: This series was laser cut at MIT. Since normally Katie surrounds figures with pattern, this was an experiment in what would happen if the figures themselves became the pattern.
BIO: Katie Commodore resides in Brooklyn, with all the other artists, where she spends her days painting incredibly detailed pattern based erotic portraits of her exhibitionist friends and watching bad daytime television. Her parents are very proud.
