Artist Biography:The Yes Men is a posse of activists who infiltrate the world of big business and pull off outrageous pranks that highlight how unrestrained corporate greed is destroying the planet (and more!). Their previous movies—official selections at Sundance, Toronto, Berlin, and SXSW, released theatrically and broadcast on HBO and international TV outlets—expose and publicize vital issues through hilarious hijinks. The Yes Men wrote a few books, regularly give lectures and workshops on art and social change, and founded the Yes Lab, an educational organization devoted to training next-generation activists. They are currently working on The Yes Men Are Revolting, a film, and—together with Mozilla engineers—a human-staffed platform called the “Action Switchboard” that will give everyone a way to plug directly into ongoing direct actions, or get lots of help starting new ones.
