Artist Biography:Stephanie Avery: artist, art director, adventurer. Based in Toronto, in the great white north, Avery’s art involves finding beauty in the grotesque, from installations made entirely of human teeth, to photographing abandoned buildings, to re-appropriating left-overs for time-based sculptures, and always with a dash of humor. She is currently an artist-in-residence at Flux.
