Karen Azoulay
Her solo exhibitions include Wading Under a Crackling Sky, curated by Glenn Ligon at CUE Art Foundation in New York (2007), The Evening Canopy and the Sunset Hour at Mercer Union in Toronto, and Fire Tale, curated by Joseph R. Wolin, which is currently on display at Four Gallery / the Lab in Dublin, Ireland (2007). Her installations and performances include commissions for institutions such as The Art Gallery of Ontario, Canadian Art Magazine and The Power Plant. Her work has been included in the follow group shows at the Islip Art Museum, East Islip, NY, Stichting, Eindhoven, Netherlands;Hanna Gallery, Tokyo; Art & Idea, Mexico City; Galerie Kunstbuero, Vienna and White Columns, New York, among others. Her reviews include mentions in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Vogue.com, Macleans, Celeste, Elle, Border Crossings and Canadian Art Magazine.
