Join us next week for Flux Thursday, our monthly potluck and salon! Dinner starts at 8 pm, with presentations and performances to follow. This month, Going Places (Doing Stuff) veteran Liz Barry will talk about TreeKIT, a grassroots project mapping trees throughout the streets of western Queens. Michal Shilo will screen Face Styling, a video exploring the intimate and sometimes meticulous process of male grooming and the styling of facial hair. Fluxers Jean Barberis, Georgia Muenster, Adrian Owen, and Alison Ward will talk about Super-G, their recent residency in a cardboard city at a flea market within a grocery store in Greensboro, North Carolina. Bring drinks or something delicious to share!
