For three weeks in June, Debt Positive invites you to bring interest to bear on indebtedness that is shared openly and not exclusively. Debt might be the fundamental basis of human relations, but today it is also tricky business. Individuals shun it, but organizations welcome it as a means to grow. Debt seems to drive the economy yet appears abstracted to absurdity.

This evening’s line-up is: Filippos Oraiopoulos will present a performative conference called Murder’s Archive: a live audio interview a screening of movie fragments and slide show. Theodoros Zafeiropoulos will present Intake – an Epic Story of Failure, which he worked on between 2009 and 2011. Patricia Dominguez will present The Museum of the Seagulls, a museum her grandfather put together in Chile. Renzo Ortega, a New York based visual artist from Peru, will present a selection of music videos he made for music collective R-tronika.Constantin Hartenstein, an installation and video artist and Flux resident, will present his artistic praxis and show examples of his video Works.
