Introduction to Transparency Tools
Clear, compassionate communication is a pillar of successful groups and a healthy society. In this workshop we will explore simple conversational tools that can be used in groups of coworkers, flatmates, friend circles, congregations and community groups. With these techniques a group of people willing to share intimate information about themselves with each other, can explore their histories and emotions in order to cultivate transparency, trust and empathy within the group.
These Transparency Tools where developed by The Federation of Egalitarian Communities and first presented to Flux Factory during our Utopia School exhibition (October 2014). This workshop will be facilitated by Gil Lopez, Flux Factory’s Community Organizing Resident.
