I came of age as an artist in Washington, DC during the 60s and 70s. The op and pop art movements were a strong influence along with politics. I collect mechanical toys that have inspired super-sized wooden sculptures. I collect “stuff” which is often used in my art work, and am an incorrigible dumpster diver.
