My goal has long been to make art about science. Degrees in marine biology and scientific illustration led me towards the studies of quantum physics, philosophy, and shamanic techniques that currently inform my work. I consider most of my pieces to be "subtle reality technologies", laboratory equipment and/or ritual objects to be used in accessing the less tangible aspects of existence. I am especially interested in sound and the notion (popularized by string theory) that all things are inherently composed of vibration.
