Roll over to Flux Factory for Rinkworm\, a pop-up skating rink produced by Springboard Collective. Open daily from February 11th-17th\, this exhibition is highly contagious. Join us for open skating madness\, three nights of live performance and music\, infectious roller discos\, karaoke on ice and Our Bloody Valentine. Bring your skates or use our rentals- all events are free and open to the public. What if the hokey pokey is what it’s all about? \n\nRENTAL INFO\nBring your own skates/roller blades if you’ve got them!\nAll rentals are donation-based\nWe carry size 5-12 adult skates\nThe floor in concrete\, please bring any protective gear you feel you’ll need\nSKATE AT YOUR OWN RISK \nLOUNGE & ARCADE\nRelax in the lounge or kick back with a game in the arcade.  \nSNACK BAR\nRinkworm‘s snack bar serves a select menue of food and alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages. \nSchedule of Events\n\nMonday – Wednesday\, February 11th – 13th\n6-9pm: Open Skating \nWednesday\, February 13th\n7:30pm: Sci-Fi Rollerskating Dystopian Deathsport Movie ever captured on film: ROLLERBALL. Curated by Jonathan Sims\, and presenting a selection of the choicest rollerskating video ephemera before the main feature. \nThursday\, February 14th\n6-11pm: Our Bloody Valentine\, bring something to candy coat\n7pm: Flux Thursday Potluck\, bring something to share\n9pm: Couples Skate w/MC Vinyl Richie \nFriday\, February 15th\n6-9pm: Open Skating\n9pm: Live Performance on Ice featuring MOM\, Seth Timothy Larson and Abigail Entsminger\, and Joseph Keckler\n11pm: Roller Disco featuring Play Play and Sponsored Lynx \nSaturday\, February 16th\n2-9pm: Open Skating\n10pm: Live music by Ben Seretan \nSunday\, February 17th\n2-9pm: Open Skating \nSpringboard Collective produces site-specific\, interactive\, and sculptural environments. DESCRIPTION:Rinkworm\nFlux Thursday: Our Bloody Valentine\nThursday\, February 14th\nFlux Gallery\, this location is wheelchair accessible\nThis event is 18 & up. \n  \n6-11pm: Bring an object to candy coat for Our Bloody Valentine\n7pm: Flux Thursday Potluck\, bring something to share\n9pm: Couples Skate w/MC Vinyl Richie \nPlease join us on Valentines Day for Flux Factory’s monthly community potluck with Springboard Collective presenting Rinkworm. \nThe potluck starts at 7pm\, please bring a snack or beverage to share. Potluck themes are aphrodisiacs\, food or beverages you love\, or anything pink. Also\, bring an object to candy coat in melted sugar for Our Bloody Valentine! \nWear your skates or use our rentals and skate to the beats of MC Vinyl Richie. And yes\, plenty of couples skates. \n\n\nSpringboard Collective produces site-specific and sculptural installations. Their highly collaborative projects aim to create inclusive experiences in fun\, socially-activated spaces. Interactive elements encourage the audience to become the performers and find creative expression within the exhibition theme. Springboard is co-directed by Danny Crump\, Sarah Dahlinger\, and Micah Snyder. \n \nBronx native Richard (DJ Vinyl Richie) Nathaniel got his taste for music at a young age listening to records in the house and around the parties in his neighborhood. When he is not controlling a crowd he is creating and curating sound projects. \n
