FOR BIKES:

Please be advised the Plaza is a wee dangerous to cross through. There are 10 lanes of vehicles and some of them come flying off the Queensboro Bridge (which also has a bike path, fyi).

But for those coming from the Pulaski Bridge via Greenpoint/Williamsburg, you might be inclined to ride up Jackson Ave to Northern Boulevard. Such is not the safest bike path. The map below shows the Plaza, highlighted in red – this is not your best safe zone. The green paths show safer paths to Flux Factory. Wear your helmet, use bike lights, and be safe.

Vernon Blvd has a proper bike path; 21st Street is busy but wide; 23rd is more like a side-street – these are the ONLY streets that cross under the Queensboro Bridge – you have to take them or Jackson Ave.
