August 2, 2014
8pm: Dinner (doors at 7:30pm)
10pm: Kitchen Dance Party (doors at 9:30pm)
Please join us in celebrating 20 years of Flux Factory at our Homecoming Banquet and dance party on August 2. The event marks the beginning of our Homecoming Exhibition, a look back at Flux’s long history of radical experimentation and collaboration — as well as being a reunion for everyone who has made it possible.
The celebration will have two parts: first, a lavish 5-course vegetarian summer feast, prepared by our Flux Iron Chefs. During dinner, we’ll re-tell accounts of Fluxy adventures and mishaps, while enjoying live performances and the Homecoming Exhibition artwork. Expect never-before-heard-of salad courses, buttered toast points dipped in sumptuous soups, zucchinis titillated with tapanades and then serenaded in sauces, chocolate ganaches atop everything. After dinner there’ll be drinks and dancing late into the evening – an epic kitchen dance party!
Tickets for dinner and dancing are $50. If you’d like to join us for the dance party only, tickets are $15. Both tickets include one complimentary drink. A portion of dinner tickets, and any additional donations are tax-deductible.
If you can’t make it to the Banquet, any tax-deductible donation of $50 or more can go towards sponsoring another artist or cultural producer to attend in your place.
