Rebeca Letras

Rebeca Letras is a non-binary artist who works in various artistic fields —ceramics, performance, video, and sound. They explore the loop as a revolutionary creative process through the accumulation of repeated circuits, enhancing individual and collective energetic encounters as a possibility for achieving political questioning, altered states of consciousness, and new queer immaterialities. They reflect on binary thinking, hyperproductivity, and contemporary consumption through rituals of repetition and meditation. Some of the most recent projects are “Looping ~ Criar Redes com Materiais Crus” para Fast&Furious da Masmorra nos em Ponta Delgada, Açores and “ooOoOoooOoOooOo” developed in collaboration with Adriana João at Teatro da Garagem, Lisbon.
