Teng Teng will provide picture books and reference pictures to give you inspiration. All materials will be provided and no previous painting experience is required. You don’t need to bring anything since all the workshop supplies are provided!
Location: Outdoors at Colonels Row House 404A on Governors Island
About the Facilitator:
Teng Teng is an artist who was born in China. Teng Teng’s diverse practice (painting, installation, performance art, art education etc.) focuses on the integration of art and ordinary people’s daily life and healing others. She has been recording stories in small frames of my own design. These can be hung on a wall or worn on the body, creating a close relationship to the person who wears it. She has sewn the paintings into her clothes and strolled around the city, hoping that the color brings a bit more warmth to the world. Over the past few years she has hosted over 100 workshops around the world to teach people how to draw tiny paintings.
