Joe Shaw

Joe is a training architect and writer from Manchester. His writing about his own city has been published by the tourist board in several languages and his zine ‘Belle Vue’ dishes out small printed nuggets of urban topophilia to proud Mancunians everywhere. He originally came to New York to help two other artists begin a project to build a sustainable farm and artist residency in Texas but decided to remain and continue to add to a growing journal which he hopes might one day become ‘Belle Vue International’. He also designs playing cards, writes copy and protests at the commercial destruction of British football culture via his membership of the co-operative splinter club FC United of Manchester. ¡Hasta la victoria siempre!
