Lizzy De Vita

Lizzy De Vitais an artist, writer, and educator who lives and works in Brooklyn. De Vita’s work occupies a constellation of mediums, including performance, text, sound, drawing, installation, video and sculpture. Diverse in form, the work is unified by an underlying interest in viral moments: places where the boundaries between ourselves and others are blurred. De Vita earned her BA in Art History and English Literature from Barnard College and her MFA in Sculpture at Yale. Her work has been shown in a range of venues, including NurtureArt, The Connelly Theater, The National Museum of the Moving Image, The Carnegie Museum of Art, The Andy Warhol Museum, The Chimney, and the Invisible Dog. 

Lizzy is the current Accessibility Fellow at Flux Factory. Supported by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
