Poyen Wang

Poyen Wang was born in Taiwan and is currently based in New York. His practice primarily takes the form of video and installation, exploring the themes of migration, subjectivity and time. He is interested in the reciprocal relationship between digital media and human perception; how they reference and inform each other. He was the fellowship recipient of a government sponsorship for overseas study 

from Taiwan in 2015 and won the Gold Medal Award at Taiwan National Art Award in 2017. He is currently participating in the AIM program at the Bronx Museum of the Arts in New York City.
