Amia Megumi Yokoyama
Amia Megumi Yokoyama is a multi-media artist who works with experimental animation, video, sculpture, performance, and installation.
She shows her work at film festivals, galleries, museums, billboards, and the internet. Amia graduated from CalArts in 2017 with an MFA from the department of Experimental Animation, and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in the summer of 2017. In 2010, she received a B.A from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Studies with a specialization in New Digital Media, Contemporary Art Theory, and Sustainable Practices.
