On opposite sides of the world, two people are imprisoned by the forces of organized madness. One, held hostage in Beirut, has only his memories to keep him company. The other, his wife, is beset by the government and the media – the very people who claim to be the only ones who can help. How far will we go to save the things we love? How much humanity will we sacrifice in a world where compassion is a political gambit?
