Opening: Wednesday, November 27th, 7pm - 9pm Exhibition dates: November 28th - December 5th, 1pm - 6pm (closed Monday, 12/2) Flux Factory Artist-in-Residence Emi Nishiwaki presents her new works, Sway of Dream and Constellation. Using performance as a starting point, she transfers key concepts into different media, including photography, drawing, video and fabric.

UK-based collective Reactor will present a new work over four weekends at Flux Factory through our Curatorial Carte Blanche program. Rather than a pre-determined, structured methodology – Reactor’s usual way of working - Log!c ?stem will use improvisation as a form of anti-logic. Improvisation cannot be rehearsed, but the Log!c ?stem will create the rules of the game, so that Reactor can actively train to play.

Closing Reception: Saturday, October 12th, 6pm - 9pm Current Model Like New uses the car dealership - a signifier of class divisions, commodity fetishism, and globalization - as its impetus.

Opening: Saturday, June 8th, 6pm-9pm Exhibition dates: June 9th, 12am-7pm, June 10 – 15, 2pm-6pm, and by appointment CR(I)SES AD(JUST)MENTS (COLLAPSED) focuses on the monstrous metaphors that were born out of The Great Depression of 1929 and those that have yet to arise from the 2008 Great Recession.

Design & Build workshops: every weekend in May; Ribbon-cutting & Adoption drive: June 1st. Artists and city planners will collaborate with elementary schools students to design and build a thriving meow-tropolis: Kitty City.
