Alex Wolkowicz is a Polish/German photographer and artist resident in Liverpool/UK. Her work explores themes about our relationship with the world and how we share it with each other and other living things. Essentially tactile and documentary, her work springs from her experience with photography, performance, theatre and the creation of unique representations of places, things and histories.
Orsina Pasargiklian is a London based artist, born in 1987 in Milan, Italy. She moved to London, U.K. in 2007 to pursue her art studies. She graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art at Middlesex University in 2012. She currently lives in London, where she works at SOTA Art Club, co-directing art workshops for children and seniors.
Her work concerns the analysis of urban space. She is interested in aspects of urbanization and the coming together of different cultures within cities as a consequence of a globalized world.
Her paintings attempt to convey this phenomenon through an iconography that embeds images of graphs and statistics showing data related to urban growth as well as actual maps of cities, thereby creating an aesthetic that is harmonic and delicate, in contrast with the cold images of standard graphs.
